Join TAHC for our Day on the Hill! on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 TAHC’s Day on the Hill is one of the most important opportunities we have each year to come together as a community and advocate for home- and community-based care in Tennessee. We invite you to join fellow TAHC members at the Capitol to share your perspective, build relationships with lawmakers, and help advance policies that support providers, patients, and families across the state. Participating in advocacy events is essential to building and sustaining a strong, effective coalition of home care supporters. Legislators consistently tell us how valuable it is to hear directly from providers in their districts—and those conversations truly make a difference. During this year's Day on the Hill, we will focus on education and outreach around key legislative and budget priorities affecting all TAHC provider types, including anticipated Certificate of Need legislation, home health licensure, a proposed budget amendment to increase funding for home-delivered meals, and hospice pass-through education. TAHC and Butler Snow Will Have You Covered Whether this is your first advocacy event or you’ve been to the Capitol many times before, you will not be on your own. TAHC staff and our Butler Snow advocacy team will be with you every step of the way—providing background materials, talking points, and on-site support to ensure you feel prepared and confident in every meeting. Agenda 8:00 a.m. – Breakfast Briefing Cordell Hull Building 425 Rep. John Lewis Way N Nashville, TN 37243 We’ll begin the day with breakfast in a reserved room at the Cordell Hull Building, where TAHC staff and the Butler Snow team will walk through the day’s goals, review key advocacy messages, and cover meeting logistics. This briefing is designed to make sure everyone feels comfortable and ready before heading into legislative meetings. Hotel recommendations and lodging information will be shared very soon to help participants plan their travel. Following Breakfast Briefing – Legislative Meetings After the briefing, participants will break out for scheduled meetings with legislators. These meetings focus on education and relationship-building and give you the opportunity to share real-world experiences and highlight the impact of home- and community-based care in your community. Your voice matters, and your participation strengthens TAHC’s advocacy efforts. We hope you’ll join us for this important day and help ensure that policymakers continue to hear directly from the providers who deliver care every day across Tennessee.
